Project Manager
Spencer Ogden is partnered with one of the leading wind energy producers in Germany, aiming to contribute to a sustainable energy future through the utilisation of wind energy.
The company is looking for a talented Substation Project Manager to join its team.
The Opportunity
The role will involve overseeing the design and construction of substations for wind farms and ensuring that projects are delivered on time, on budget and to high quality standards.
Duties will include coordinating with project managers, grid operators and authorities, managing suppliers for construction and electrical installations, overseeing factory and site acceptance testing and regularly monitoring costs, schedules and progress reports.
Skills Required
- Completed studies in electrical engineering, energy technology, industrial engineering or a similar field.
- Proven experience in managing projects in the field of substations or similar infrastructure projects in the energy industry.
- Ability to understand technical challenges and develop appropriate solutions.
- Strong project management skills, including planning, executing, monitoring and closing projects.
- Strong communication skills to communicate effectively with internal teams, external contractors and stakeholders.
- Ability to analyze complex problems, make informed decisions and develop appropriate solutions.
- Driving license class B.
- Very good German and English language skills.
