Mackinnon Bruce is partnering with a leading manufacturer of precision dispensing and automation equipment used from early R&D activities to industrial, high throughput manufacturing of innovative diagnostic devices.

We are now seeking a driven Sales Representative to join the DACH team (based in Germany). This role is a key position within the commercial team.

It will take responsibility for managing and developing the current accounts as well as growing the territory through new business development.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in biotech or diagnostics sales, excellent communication skills and knowledge of the Diagnostic processes.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve sales targets and expand market coverage
  • Develop and convert new business leads with a focus on the Pharma and diagnostic sectors.
  • Maintain and develop strong relationships with key clients, including laboratories, research institutions, industry and healthcare facilities.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and support with help from the support team
  • Demonstrate your knowledge of laboratory instrument and / or services and their applications in the diagnostics vertical.
  • Carry out demonstration on the products for potential customers.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify opportunities.
  • Work closely with the Marketing and Product Management teams to develop and enhance go-to-market strategies
  • Maintain accurate sales activities and pipeline status using CRM software.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Biotechnology, Life Sciences, Business, or a related field.
  • Proven track record of at least 3-5 years in sales within the Biotech or diagnostics industry.
  • Strong understanding of diagnostic technologies
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to travel as required to meet with clients and attend industry events.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
