We are part of the global corporate communications of Mercedes-Benz Group AG and inform the external business, regional and daily media about the economic and financial situation of Mercedes-Benz both nationally and internationally.

You will not only gain insights into the communication of our business results and sales figures, but also into topics relating to the stock market, purchasing & sustainability, real estate, cooperations and sales.

We use the right approach and suitable communication channels and formats for our target groups.

During your internship in the external communications team, you will support the organization of press events, research and prepare information on upcoming surveys and projects.

Your fresh perspective and creative ideas are very welcome!

Your tasks will include

• Collaborating on communication concepts and developing new communication formats
• Support in the preparation / execution of virtual and physical press events and media events, media roundtables with board participation
• Creating question and answer catalogs (Q&As), briefings and presentations
• Support in processing press inquiries and projects
• Support in the processing of surveys on financially relevant topics of Mercedes-Benz Group AG
• Research and preparation of figures, data and facts (corporate data)
• Independent projects in connection with sales, purchasing and financial communication

Qualifikationen

• You have a degree in communication science, journalism, German studies, economics (business administration / economics), marketing / sales or a comparable course of study
• You have a good command of written and spoken German and English
• You are familiar with MS Office (MS Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point)
• You work independently, carefully, organized and reliably You are committed, creative, curious and enthusiastic
• You have already gained practical experience in journalism or press relations - Before or during your studies you have already planned one or two events and you are willing to work from home?

Additional information :

The internship starts around October , 4 full-time ( hours). The internship lasts up to six months.
