About the Role

We are looking for a highly motivated Backend Developer to join an innovative team. You’ll work on developing, optimizing, and migrating APIs, leveraging modern tools and technologies.

As part of a collaborative, remote-first team, you'll contribute to exciting projects with flexibility and career growth opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

• Enhance and maintain existing REST APIs , primarily using PHP Laravel.
• Participate in the migration of APIs from PHP to Go .
• Use test-driven development practices to ensure robust and maintainable code.
• Leverage tools for code quality , such as grumphp and pint.
• Work with RabbitMQ , PostgreSQL , MongoDB , Redis , and S3 Storage .
• Perform tasks efficiently using CLI and shell commands.
• Maintain and enhance CI / CD pipelines with GitLab CI and GitHub Actions .
• Design and execute Kubernetes deployments .
• Develop additional CLI tools and utilities to streamline workflows.
• Evaluate and adopt the best-suited technologies for project-specific requirements.
• Explore and implement innovative solutions.

Essential Skills and Qualifications

• Strong experience in API development , particularly REST APIs .
• Familiarity with S3 Storage , Redis , and PostgreSQL .
• Understanding of test-driven development and code quality principles .
• Basic knowledge of shell scripting and CLI tools.
• Self-motivated with a proactive attitude.
• Eager to learn and adapt to new technologies.
• Collaborative and team-oriented mindset.
• Eligibility to work in Germany.
• German proficiency (C1) .

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with PHP Laravel .
• Proficiency in Go or other programming languages.
• Hands-on experience with containerization and Kubernetes .
• Familiarity with CI / CD pipelines and processes.
