The Simulation Engineer Electronics will be focused on modeling and simulation of electronic circuits, related physical domains and day-to-day support for the developing team in designing, characterizing, and testing various aspects of automotive products

Key responsibilities

Modeling, simulating and analysis of electronic circuits and systems to meet technical product requirements / or circuit design
Perform testing, characterization and verification of electronic designs and their key electronic components
Explore and apply simulations in related domains, such as 3D thermal analysis, power distribution analysis, parasitic extraction, EMC and magnetics
Cooperation and coordination with in-house department as well as external consulting for specific use cases
Support BorgWarner product development team with technical design analysis, trade off studies, and design reviews
Development of simulation models for internal use

What we’re looking for

Masters’ degree in Electrical / Electronic Engineering

At least 5 years of experience in Automotive Electronic or e-Mobility Engineering

Knowledge of relevant EMC standards, standing orders and legal requirements

Knowledge in the field of theoretical electrical engineering and electrodynamics

Capable to apply relevant simulation tools and methods

Experience in a lab environment with electrical circuits preferred

Work in a diversified team, where strong cross-team and cross-domain communication skills are key

Fluency in English and German is required
