Your Role : Platform Engineer

As our new Platform Engineer, you’ll be at the helm of transforming cloud infrastructure and security. Picture yourself developing groundbreaking cloud solutions, optimizing performance, and securing communications for a company that’s shaping the future of payments.

You’ll be the mastermind behind ensuring that our network runs like a well-oiled machine, and your innovations will set new standards in the industry.

What You'll Do :

• Conquer Network Challenges : Dive deep into complex network issues involving TCP / IP, DNS, and HTTP / HTTPS, and emerge with solutions that ensure flawless connectivity and communication.
• Master SSL / TLS : Become the go-to expert for managing and troubleshooting SSL / TLS certificates, tackling misconfigurations, expirations, and chaining with precision.
• Analyze Traffic Like a Pro : Use top-tier tools like Wireshark, Fiddler, and tcpdump to capture and dissect network traffic, uncovering and resolving vulnerabilities before they become problems.
• Automate & Innovate : Write cutting-edge scripts in Python, Bash, or PowerShell to automate network monitoring and streamline operations, making your mark on efficiency.
• Secure the Cloud Frontier : Design and deploy state-of-the-art cloud security solutions, manage Infrastructure as Code with Terraform and Puppet, and keep our cloud environment rock-solid.
• Elevate System Performance : Continuously improve and refine existing systems, implementing best practices that enhance performance, security, and overall system integrity.
• Collaborate & Shine : Work closely with Data, IT, and Engineering teams to drive best practices and ensure our network communications are second to none.

What You Bring :

• A Degree in Awesomeness : Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Security, or a related field, and 5+ years of hands-on experience in network communication, SSL / TLS management, and traffic analysis.
• Tech Savvy : Proficiency with tools like Wireshark, tcpdump, and Burp Suite, coupled with a deep understanding of TCP / IP, HTTP / HTTPS, DNS, and SSL / TLS protocols.
• Script Mastery : Skillful in scripting languages like Python, Bash, or PowerShell to craft automation tools that change the game.
• Cloud Champion : Experience securing AWS environments, familiarity with Kubernetes, Docker, and deployment automation tools like Jenkins and Puppet.
• Infrastructure Guru : Knowledge of Terraform, Helm, Prometheus, and FluxCD, with an in-depth grasp of AWS security best practices.
