Head of Platform Infrastructure (m/f/d)
A hyper-growth SaaS vendor is seeking a world-class Head of Platform Infrastructure to provide disciplinary, technical and strategic leadership to their IT and Cloud Infrastructure team.
Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor system administrators, ensuring high availability of DC and cloud infrastructure
- Drive innovation in hosting, orchestration, and adoption of new technologies
- Oversee infrastructure project planning, prioritization, and delivery
- Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors, managing third-party relationships
- Ensure system maintenance, upgrades, and regulatory compliance
- Lead cloud migration efforts and maintain disaster recovery plans
Experience Required
- 10+ years of IT experience in system administration and automation
- Strong expertise in Kubernetes and Linux system administration
- Proficient in Infrastructure-as-Code tools like Ansible, and scripting with Bash and Python
- Experience running production .NET and Java applications with knowledge of memory management
- Strong problem-solving skills and expertise in troubleshooting complex issues
- Effective communication and collaboration abilities
