Contract Management Central & East

The Construction Department oversees wind farm projects from inception to completion. Once a contract is signed, the team takes charge and remains responsible until final testing is done.

Collaborating closely with logistics, procurement, and finance departments, they ensure the project stays on budget and on schedule while meeting safety and quality standards.

Additionally, they work with the sales and legal departments to ensure each wind farm delivers the highest energy yield according to the client’s specifications.

Responsibilities

• Safeguard Vestas’ commercial interests during the construction phase of wind farms.
• Provide proactive advice on commercial and contractual issues to ensure projects meet safety, quality, time, and budget standards.
• Offer direct support to the Project Director, Project Manager, and other team members, ensuring alignment with legal and finance departments.
• Oversee the commercial and contractual aspects of wind farm construction, including reviewing and advising on Turbine Supply Agreements.
• Facilitate project risk management, maintain the project risk register, and contribute to overall risk management efforts.
• Evaluate potential claim scenarios, manage claims-related activities, and draft formal claims correspondence.
• Record and communicate lessons learned to improve future contracts, and support Sales and Bid Management functions during the sales phase.

Qualifications

• At least 7 years of experience, with a minimum of 4 years in the wind industry.
• Proficient in negotiation tactics and planning.
• Comprehensive understanding of risk management principles and procedures.
• Skilled in handling conflicts and dispute resolution.
• Effective in managing internal stakeholders.
• Advanced relationship management skills.
• Capable of coaching and mentoring junior Contract Managers

Additional information
