Risk and Analytics Senior Analyst

Summary :

The purpose of this role is to support the Risk and Analytics agenda within the ADM Commodity Risk Middle Office. The team works to assist the wider commercial team with improving the commercial performance while at the same time to help ensure the team operates in a controlled manner.

Job Responsibilities :

• Run and manage the daily risk and analytics reporting package
• Work to assist with increasing and improving the scope and scale of the risk and analytics coverage
• Provide insights and tools to help the commercial teams make better decisions from both a risk and reward perspective; work closely with traders to interpret valuations and develop next generation models and analytics
• Help to improve the risk and analytics technology platform for wider reliability, scalability, and quality
• Assist with overall market research and analysis of market trends; provide insights on findings
• Provide financial engineering, structuring, and valuation where and when needed

Required Skills :

Verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers;

customer service is a priority

• Ability to work independently but also have ability to work with wider team and teams
• Results and solutions oriented, proactive delivery of goals
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft programs (Excel, Power BI, VBA)
• Ability to work in a fast paced, high intensity environment

Education Requirements :

Bachelor’s Degree in analytic, scientific or engineering related field; prefer advanced degree (Master’s or PhD)

Required Experience :

• Prior experience in a quantitative role within a trading environment or experience in a position applying advanced quantitative techniques to solving highly complex problems
• 3- 7 years of equivalent experience in similar role
• Understanding of the modeling of risk and dynamics of linear and non-linear financial products Our offer :
