Your tasks

• Development and commissioning of control modules and HMI configurations for various machine modules
• Clarification of requirements for control functions in an interdisciplinary team
• Contact person for automation solutions for complex packaging lines
• Creating concepts and specifications for interfaces and software functions in close cooperation with specialist departments
• Implementing the control software for modular and project-specific solutions
• Creation and execution of unit tests as well as participation in integration, system and validation tests
• Commissioning functions on prototypes and series machines
• Support with the series introduction of new developments and collaboration in project planning

Your profile

• Degree in electrical engineering, automation technology, mechatronics, software engineering or a comparable field of study
• Experience in software development for mechatronic systems or in mechanical engineering
• Sound knowledge of PLC programming in accordance with IEC 61131-3
• Experience in software development and problem-solving methods as well as drive and control technology
• Knowledge of scripting languages and object-oriented programming
• Analytical and conceptual thinking skills
• Creativity and team spirit
• Ability to collaborate across disciplines
