Germany PR Manager

The Role

We are looking to recruit a Germany based Senior Marketing / PR professional to join our ground-breaking digital health business and help grow awareness of the latest line-up of wearables in the local market.

Aimed at on-the-go professionals, you will be responsible for managing all PR communications and media relations for the DACH region, reporting into the Head of Marketing EMEA.

We are looking for someone highly motivated with solid experience in PR management, preferably from Marketing Agencies and / or Consumer Electronics, who can hit the ground running, ready to focus on our ambitious projects.

Key Responsibilities :

• 1. To work closely with regional MKT team to align on projects and goals and take full ownership of the DACH PR strategy, plan and execution of actions to sustain positive, in-depth coverage;
• 2. To work on cross-cutting affairs with regional teams (including, but not limited to Marketing, Sales, Aftersales, Retail, Go-To-Market and Product) in EMEA to support and maximize coverage according to local requirements;
• 3. To support and be completely in charge of the creation and localisation of press materials for Germany and the DACH area, and lead local review programs over various products;
• 4. To strategize PR outreach efforts across the assigned region and contribute to the creation of in-house content;
• 5. Work with different teams to lead and / or assist in press events and maintain excellent relationships with the country press;
• 6. Lead and manage PR agency to execute marketing & communications plans as well as predict, monitor, and manage crises;
• 7. Monitor local media reports and handle media requests frequently;
• 8. Undertake individual tasks of a marketing plan as assigned;

Requirements :

• 8+ years of PR experience in the electronic consumer industry
• Proven press and key media / influencer relationships
• Experience in technology (sports / fitness sectors is a plus)
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple projects at once
• A driven and passionate individual, willing to use own initiative to complete tasks
• Experienced in managing a budget and delivering ROI and KPI's
• Native German speaker, with excellent written and oral communication skills in English
• Creative thinking to generate innovative ideas and solutions
• Experience in running multiple social channels
• Acute creative skills and flair
