The Regional ServiceManager (f / m / d) will oversee and inspire aworkforce with direct service teams in Central Germany.

Theindividual will be responsible for leading a team of CustomerService Engineer, Application Specialists and IT Specialists.

TheRegional Service Manager will have responsibility to superviseservice, repair and / or installation of products or IT solutions atcustomer site, including electrical and mechanical testing, inaccordance with maintenance contracts.

Diagnoses system failuresand determines most cost-effective solution. S / he will escalatecomplex issues to greater level of technical support or qualityreporting system.

May develop new customer service / productagreements. Responds to customer support calls within an assignedterritory. S / he will drive results through exceptional leadershipskills, consistently championing and supporting a culture ofcontinuous improvement, with an eye on reaching optimum performanceon an individual and team basis.

Inthis role, you will have the opportunity to be responsiblefor :

• Leading,managing, motivating and developing subordinateemployees
• Maintaining, optimizing and improvingservice KPIs in the central serviceregion
• Responsible for the implementation ofdevice installations
• Collaboration in theimplementation of more complex large-scale automationprojects
• Ensuring a high level of customersatisfaction in the region
• Close cooperationwith the cross-functional teams (Sales / WorkflowIT)
• Collaboration in the realization of serviceprojects (national / international)
• Interfacewith local and regional support function teams including sales,marketing, logistics and distribution, human resources, IT, andfinance.

CommercialandMarket-facing :

• Advocatefor the customer for product quality and for providing excellentcustomer solutions.
• Build brand awareness andpreference for Beckman Coulter Diagnosticsproducts.
• Ensure strong understanding of themarketplace dynamics including competitive and customertrends.
• Represent the organization in customernegotiations, trade shows, seminars, conferences, and otherofficialoccasions.

Theessential requirements of the job include Walking into the position, Regional Service Manager will be joininga dynamic team who share a passion for competing through anentrepreneurial approach.

The individual will oversee anestablished, successful group of seasoned and knowledgeable serviceprofessionals. It will be incumbent upon him / her to contribute toimmediate and effective relations through interactivecommunication, exchanging ideas and fostering an environment ofteamwork and mutualrespect.

In addition, certainpersonal attributes will be necessary components of the successfulcandidate’s background for therole :

• Technicalvocational training or technical college education and many yearsof professional experience
• Experience inemployee management and excellent teamplayer
• Good technicalknowledge
• High level of customer orientationand strong service mentality as well as persuasiveness andmotivation
• Substantial experience within acomplex service organization in a high technology and medicalproduct / service sector.
• Language skills : Germanand English
• Travel : 70%
