Your field of work includes :
As part of the "BOS Network" department, the candidate will be responsible for the technical implementation of concepts.
They are responsible for the proper setup, migration and dismantling of IT network components in the high-availability network of the fire and police services.
Your tasks will include :
- Monitoring and operating the networks and ICT systems to be supported
- Adapting the network infrastructure and ICT systems to constantly changing usage requirements
- Creating, updating and correcting technical documentation on configurations, network topologies and troubleshooting in suitable formats to document the ICT system structure (e.
g. geoinformation systems, Office)
- Implementation of extensions to hardware and software components
- Troubleshooting the networks and ICT systems to be supported (during working hours / on-call duty)
You bring with you :
- Completed university education (Bachelor's or comparable university degree) in the field of information technology or comparable or
- Relevant completed vocational training and corresponding several years of experience of at least 3 years in the required IT field or
- comparable equivalent skills, knowledge and experience
as well as :
- practical skills for installing and troubleshooting network components
- Knowledge of network technology, network components in LAN and data centers
- Approval for the security check (SÜG - SÜ1)
- Willingness to participate in the on-call duty
- Driving license B1 or obligation to obtain this within the probationary period
