Sales Quality

Sales Quality is a department within Vestas Quality that aims for quality excellence throughout the entire sales process, from early deal negotiations to contract signing and handover for project execution.

Sales Quality represents Vestas Quality at all sales stages, ensuring that we provide products and services to our customers with premium quality and performance.

The department includes Sales Quality representatives in all sales regions, Offshore Sales and Project Certification Leads, and Inspection & Audit Specialists for Onshore and Offshore projects.

As a member of our Sales Quality department, you’ll play a crucial role in helping Vestas achieve its ambitious business targets.

Responsibilities

You will be responsible for quality topics during all sales stages of our global offshore projects, representing Vestas quality in regional functional management and other quality teams, like construction and service.

In detail :

• Support the offshore contracting team in delivering and negotiating customer quality requirements, being the interface between global quality and offshore sales in the regions, supporting sales in submitting bids and closing contracts within the Vestas quality and specific contractual-related governance policies.
• Provide input on updates of Vestas global quality and specific contractual-related governance policies.
• Understand quality risks early in the sales phase, provide awareness to the sales organization and propose actions to mitigate impact across value chain.
• Support, develop and deploy global level sales quality strategies within functions and across the regions.
• Creation and maintenance of global and regional quality contracting supporting material and tools
• Ensure internally the delivery of customer quality requirements to reach contractual fulfilment. Provide relevant training to stakeholders in Vestas quality and specific contractual-related governance policies.

Align customer quality requirements with Vestas abilities to comply.

• Support continuous improvement of Net Promoter Score.
• Facilitate alignment, standardization, implementation and continuous improvement of sales quality process, and procedures and support alignment, standardization, implementation and continuous improvement of other Sales process procedures and tools.
• Lead or support the global and regional organization in planning and hosting internal and customer audits and assessments (including internal audits).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Project Management, Engineering, Business Administration or other related fields
• A minimum of 8 years of experience in Quality Management, Sales, and handling quality within large, complex projects in a global project organization, ideally in the Offshore wind industry.
• Good knowledge of ISO 1 : 5 and related quality standards.including wind industry standards (i.e. IEC, BSH)
• Formal Quality Management training and certification.
• Training and certification in Project Management is beneficial but not a must.
• Fluent in English, and other languages are beneficial.
• Willingness to travel.
