Project Manager
A newly created Project Manager role, specialising in Grid Scale Battery Storage Systems has opened in Germany. This role is pivotal in executing battery storage projects, ensuring they meet planning criteria in terms of time, costs, scope, and quality.
The focus is on delivering exceptional customer satisfaction and project profitability. Depending on the size, multiple projects may be managed simultaneously.
The Project Manager will organise and coordinate all parties involved in planning and constructing the battery storage systems, including customers and suppliers.
Collaboration with other teams, such as engineering, field service, and procurement, is essential to ensure successful project completions.
This role supports the integration of battery storage systems, contributing significantly to the electric, green, and sustainable energy market.
Key responsibilities include leading and managing cross-functional teams to deliver commitments on schedule, under budget, and exceeding customer expectations.
Acting as the 'execution face' of the company, the Project Manager will maintain regular communication with customers throughout the project lifecycle.
Monitoring, reviewing, summarising, and communicating contractual requirements, milestones, and criticalities to stakeholders is crucial.
Additionally, preparing and presenting project progress and financial reports, managing risks, and employing project management tools are integral parts of the role.
The position requires a degree in engineering, preferably Electrical or Electronic, with over three years of direct experience in large-scale project management within the energy or industrial sectors.
Familiarity with electrical, controls, and power electronic applications, along with knowledge of IEC and NFPA codes, is advantageous.
Experience with project management tools like MS Project Server, MS Projects, SharePoint, Power BI, and SAP environments is preferred.
Fluency in German and English, both written and spoken, is essential.
The Project Manager will engage with various external stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, and technical experts, as well as internal teams such as senior management, operations, project managers, and the sales team.
Frequent travel within Germany and also France will be expected to carry out the duties of this role.
