products within Germany, Europe, and beyond. We manage thousands of products to
deliver on our customers’ needs while providing excellent service.
We are seeking a full-time Key Account Manager to join our dynamic, international team at our Düsseldorf office. The successful candidate will collaborate cross-functionally with
various teams, including commercial, operations, product, and country leads, to onboard
customers and ensure our marketplace meets their needs. This role involves partnering
with customers to source the goods they require and fostering long-term relationships to ensure sustained cooperation.
Key responsibilities
Identification & acquisition of potential new Key-Account Customers
Increasing share of wallet with existing customers
Developing trusted relationships with internal and external stakeholders
Preparation of individual offers depending on the customer’s needs
Analyzation of tenders
Tracking and reporting of relevant commercial KPIs
Close collaboration with METRO country organisation
Support in resolve issues and problems faced by customers and handling of potential complaints
You've got
Proven experience in Sales, ideally in HoReCa-environment
Commercial expertise in calculating offers matching targeted customer profitability
- You speak fluently both English and German
- You are familiar with MS Office (especially Power Point and Excel)
- Proactive, self-motivated
- Ownership and customer-oriented mindset
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
