About the role :
As a Working Student as Business Development Representative (BDR), you'll be the initial point of contact for PSI prospects, helping our sales team drive product and service sales.
You will play a key role in the early stages of the sales cycle, support new customer acquisition, and work closely with the marketing team to follow up on campaigns, events, and seminars.
Success in this role requires building strong business relationships and thriving in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities :
- Drive Sales Growth and Customer Engagement : Proactively identify and qualify new sales opportunities in the metals industry, acting as the primary contact for inbound inquiries and connecting prospects with the appropriate Sales Manager.
- Enhance Marketing and Lead Generation : Collaborate with the marketing team to maximize the impact of campaigns, events, and conferences, while conducting proactive research and phone-based prospecting to identify and qualify new leads.
- Optimize CRM and Prospecting Tools : Maintain up-to-date records in the sales CRM and use tools like LinkedIn to discover and engage new prospects.
- Develop Strategic Why PSI Proposition and Business Planning : Craft compelling reasons for prospects to choose PSI, work closely with Sales Managers to follow up on new opportunities, and develop strategic plans to drive growth in your region.
What do you bring :
- Educational Excellence : Enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s program in Business, Economics, IT, Engineering, or a related field.
- Innovative and Self-Driven : Creative thinker with a proactive attitude, passionate about sales and business development.
- Detail-Oriented and Results-Focused : High attention to detail in setting and achieving lead goals, with a strong sense of urgency to close deals.
- Skilled Communicator and Team Player : Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, with proficiency in Arabic / Turkish being a plus;
confident, mature, and collaborative.

- Experience : Proven success in executing prospecting and new account development campaigns, particularly in MENA and Turkey regions.
- Industry Knowledge : Experience in Metals, Enterprise, SaaS, Cloud, or High Tech industries.
