Business Analyst

About the department :

The IT Department within BYD Automotive GmbH is responsible for providing innovative technological solutions that align with business objectives across Germany and the broader European market.

Our team works collaboratively to analyze, develop, and implement efficient IT systems that support decision-making, streamline business processes, and enhance operational performance.

By leveraging data analytics and advanced technologies, we ensure that our IT infrastructure is aligned with the company's growth strategies and meets the evolving needs of the business.

Position Overview :

We are looking for a Business Analyst to join our IT team at BYD's Stuttgart office. The ideal candidate will have experience in analyzing business processes and translating them into effective IT solutions.

This role will be an integral part of our IT department, working closely with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, identify opportunities for improvement, and implement solutions that enhance operational efficiency.

The Business Analyst will be responsible for supporting strategic initiatives, driving process improvements, and ensuring that IT systems align with business goals.

Responsibilities :

• Collect and analyze business and users' requirements, identify bottlenecks and advise improvement for the system of business process
• Communicate with local business internal / external stakeholders on system Q&A, providing training to key users
• Cooperate with the EU IT and HQ IT team to carry out the planning, implementation, upgrading, optimization and transformation of the IT Systems
• Develop and maintain local technical documentation and procedures; perform the technical evaluations and periodic exercises and new release tests
• Understanding of the legal requirements with IT system and communicate with the Legal Department

Required Skills and Qualifications :

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Business Administration, IT, or a related field
• Fluent in English and Mandarin; other European languages are a plus
• Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis tools
• Excellent logical judgment, communication, and organizational skills
• Independent problem-solving and decision-making capabilities
• Structured, goal-oriented attitude with an analytical, curious, and proactive mindset
