Job Description

As an AI Specialist, you will join our newly launched Roland Berger AI Lab, where we design innovative and scalable GenAI solutions to create tangible impact for our clients and ourselves. Our mission is to rapidly and securely scale our expertise across clients and within RB.

In this role, you will design and implement advanced AI solutions for both client and internal applications while collaborating with the AI team to tackle real-world business challenges. Your expertise will be crucial as you write clean, maintainable code to ensure scalable AI and machine learning solutions.

Utilizing tools like Python, Databricks, SQL, Docker, and LangGraph, you will develop multimodal agents and automate workflows. You will also establish the necessary tooling and infrastructure for deploying AI models on platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP.

Thorough documentation of processes is essential, as you will present your findings to stakeholders and clients, ensuring clear communication and understanding. Staying updated on the latest advancements in data science and generative AI will empower you to drive innovation within the organization. Qualifications

• University degree with excellent academic achievements in a quantitative or technical field
• Experience with generative AI models / frameworks and MLOps tools
• Understanding of modern machine learning and GenAI techniques
• Proficient in Python for data processing and ML tasks
• Expertise in SQL or PySpark for data manipulation
• Familiarity with cloud platforms and DevOps practices
• Excellent communication skills in English; German is a plus
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
