The Advanced Operations Coordinator (JOC) will be reporting to the Head of Operational Planning & Coordination and will be a member of the Joint Operations team in the Germany Offshore Service organization.
The main responsibility is to take care of a smooth operation on a dedicated site while taking responsibility for important aspects of the short and medium term planning process for this site.
Working location will be predominantly in Hamburg BTC or Bremerhaven with potential visits on an offshore or an island based operational site.
The responsibilities include :
- Raise, schedule and allocate both planned and unplanned maintenance activities in conjunction with Siemens Gamesa field staff and customer personnel via Enterprise-Resource-Planning System.
- Maintain efficient timescales for planned maintenance activities; create daily and weekly plans for site teams as required in conjunction with Senior Technician.
Report service schedule progress to Management and Customer.
Control and technical verification within Enterprise-Resource-Planning System; collate time data and parts consumption to allow billing (service vs warranty) and parts replenishment to be initiated.
Close Service Orders in Enterprise-Resource-Planning System.
- Monitor weather and coordinate transports. Plan workload including port operation and control of documentation relevant for planning.
- Daily check on progress with field personnel, get status of work progress to plan for next day.
- Coordinate record keeping and documentation archiving to support full historical traceability of service work carried out.
- Check accurate reporting into and utilization of electronic workflow status spreadsheets. Provide data in support of the reporting process in conjunction with the Site Management.
- Interface between different stakeholders, such as Resource Management, Site Management, Spare Parts Team, Procurement.
Ensure transparency of important topics between those parties.
- Maintain service and retrofits schedule tracking for management information.
- Basic financial administration, raise purchase requisitions, request setting up of new vendors.
What You Need To Make a Difference
Passion for renewable energy and a sense for the importance to lead the change. We are also looking for
- Track record in Offshore Wind or similar.
- Comprehensive IT user skills (MS Office and Windows 365).
- Awareness on quality and safety topics.
- Very high level of communication skills.
- Independent and responsible way of working.
- Experience in the wind industry as well as planning activities is a plus.
- Knowledge in SAP SRP is a plus.
- High commitment.
- Fluent in English (at least C1 level), preferably also in German (minimum B2 level).
- Ability to work partially on Offshore rotations
