What will you do?
- Together with the consulting Partner, you will lead and foster the development of the BDO risk advisory offering for banks;
- You will coordinate the delivery of risk management mission and take active part in the sales process;
- You will assist in the continuous expansion of the offering within the consulting business line;
- You will assist in the implementation of new regulatory requirements, enhancement of existing framework or analysis due to new developments;
- You will assist in the development and / or integration of risk management solutions spanning governance, policies and processes, analytics and models, systems, data and reporting;
- You will advise clients as to how they could address an issue but also in the implementation of the solutions that you recommend;
- You will participate in the creation of business opportunities, maintaining and developing strong client relationships;
- You will bring expertise to the internal and external audit teams regarding the risk management and its implementation;
- You will be part of a dynamic and growing business line within BDO Luxembourg.
This offer is for you if :
- You have a master’s degree in management, Finance, Economics or comparable professional education in relevant fields;
- You have at least 5 years of relevant experience in Risk Management, with deep knowledge of the banking regulatory environment in Luxembourg, ideally in a consulting environment;
- You have experience in managing multiple projects at a time, and you are deadline-driven;
- You are a fast learner with the ability to understand even the most complex matters in short time; you approach any new topic and client-related matter with curiosity and high motivation;
- You have strong problem solving skills, you are proactive, resourceful and adaptable;
- You have very strong communication skills and can express yourself precisely, coherently and concisely;
- You can work autonomously as well as part of a team;
- You have knowledge of applicable regulatory requirements (e.g. Basel framework, CRR / CRD, SREP, BRRD, EBA Guidelines, CSSF Circulars etc.);
- You are proficient in MS-Office, VBA, Access, PowerBI. The knowledge in SAS / R / Matlab / Python is a plus;
- You hold one or more of industry certifications (FRM, CFA, PRM, CAIA );
- You are fluent in English (written and oral). French or German are a great asset.
