Senior Product Owner - AR HUD (m/f/d)

Our CARIDIANS are developing vehicle functions such as driver assistance systems, a next-generation infotainment platform, power electronics and charging technology, and digital services in and around the vehicle.
Our software can already be found in Volkswagen ID. models and will soon power Audi and Porsche vehicles with the E3 1.2 platform in 2024.

YOUR TEAM
As AR HUD Product Owner at CARIAD, you'll be responsible for an augmented reality head-up display software component within the Volkswagen Group.
Your focus will be on defining the component strategy and roadmap that powers the immersive visualizations in our HUDs. Your role requires close collaboration with various teams within CARIAD, multiple brands and suppliers to achieve implementation in scope, time and quality.
This involves articulating and prioritizing product features to create a seamless AR experience for drivers.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Responsibility for the development of an AR HUD software component for multiple brands of the Volkswagen Group
- Take ownership of defining the scope and roadmap by collaborating closely with Function Owners and multiple stakeholders
- Ensure seamless and timely integration of software components through effective supplier and stakeholder management
- Act as the central contact person for the software component
- Drive agile collaboration and foster continuous improvement
WHO YOU ARE
- Degree in computer science, mechatronics, computer visualistics or a related field
- Background in automotive infotainment software or relevant fields, with proficiency in working with embedded software and hardware
- Extensive experience in leading agile software development teams
- High degree of autonomy and the ability to understand and explain complex topics
- Demonstrate strong communication and collaboration skills and a structured way of working
- Driving license and willingness to travel for field testing
- Proficiency in English and German language
