Job Description

We are now looking for an

Experienced Electrical Engineer Grid connection Solar

located in our offices in Berlin or Hamburg.

You have the following key accountabilities

• Electrical design for medium voltage and high voltage grid connection
• Electrical design for large-scale PV plants
• Providing expert know-how in electrical engineering to the Engineering team, to the project teams, and our Business Unit
• Discussing technical requirements for grid connections with grid operators
• Supporting our Development team in finding the most economic grid connection
• In construction phase, being the main technical interface to our partners for installation and quality assurance ;

• It is necessary that you have profound knowledge in electrical engineering and MV / HV grid connections
• Accordingly, you hold a master degree in electrical engineering with several years of relevant work experience
• You need to be familiar with relevant norms and standards for electrical design in Germany (VDE)
• Your command of English is strong, both verbally and written;
• You are passionate for renewable energy;
• If you are experienced in the electrical design of large-scale PV plants, great., if not, you can learn this
• Good verbal communication skills in German are a plus, but not mandatory
