Materials Scientist (m/f/d)*

We are looking for a Materials Scientist* to join our Research & Development Team at our headquarters in Mainz.
Ihre Aufgaben
- Development of innovative glass and glass-ceramic based solutions for new products and applications. Scaling and transferring of these solutions to our business units
- In depth analysis of complex material process properties correlations to meet future product requirements
- Responsibility for ambitious development projects
- Networking with scientific community and technology providers; monitoring the state of the art
Ihr Profil
- Excellent university degree with PhD in physics, chemistry, or materials science
- Knowledge and experience in ceramics and / or electronics and semiconductor processing are a plus
- Very good analytical skills combined with a structured, success-oriented work approach
- Interested in solving challenging problems and willing to take over the responsibility for R&D projects in an industrial environment and drive our development efforts forward
- Fluency in programming language ( Python) is a plus
- Very good English and German language skills (written and spoken)
