Linux Administrator (m/f/d)
We are currently looking for a qualified System Administrator for Linux on behalf of a client - an IT company in Ahrensburg .
In this position you will be responsible for the support, customization and further development of the Linux system administration.

Your tasks
- Support, adaptation and further development of Linux system administration
- Responsibility for the smooth running and operation of the data center in IT system administration
- Supporting the introduction and adaptation of new technologies for the data center and infrastructure
- Further development and optimization of the internal IT infrastructure
Your profile
- Successfully completed studies in computer science, completed training as an IT specialist for system integration, or a comparable qualification
- Very good knowledge of the Linux operating system
- Experience with current virtualization technologies (VMware) and their use as well as backup (VEEAM) in distributed data centers
- Sound knowledge of open source technologies (Linux, FreeBSD, Wildfly, web application server)
- Confident German and good written and spoken English skills
- Analytical thinking, systematic and independent way of working
