Director of Pricing
Job Function Summary :
As the Global Pricing Director, you will play a key role in co-developing and implementing our pricing strategies and Tactics to enhance pricing performance.
Additionally, you will lead the development of AI tools and capabilities to enhance pricing decision-making processes.
Reporting directly to the Global Senior Pricing Director, you will have high visibility within the organization, including with global management.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :
Co-develop and execute a comprehensive pricing plan, including setting pricing targets and margins across product lines and global markets, in collaboration with Commercial Operations and General Managers.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure pricing consistency and alignment globally.
- Lead the improvement of pricing tools and processes to drive pricing excellence.
- Drive the development of AI tools and capabilities to enhance pricing decision-making processes.
- Provide pricing expertise and guidance to support the development and update of optimal product pricing strategies throughout the product lifecycle.
- Conduct external competitive pricing and offering analysis to identify pricing opportunities and risks.
- Collaborate with IT for smooth implementation and functionality of CPQ System. Conduct regular checks and updates to maintain operational efficiency (Target setting, Approval process compliance )
- Track and follow up on activities and impact from pricing initiatives, ensuring alignment with Pricing objectives.
- Support operational and strategic Global plans with appropriate pricing assumptions and recommendations.
MANAGERIAL :
- Responsible for leading and building a performance-driven culture.
- Engage as a member of the Global ComOps team, helping in crafting and refining programs and processes for the company's benefit & growth.
- Regional Support - Foster strong collaborative ties with the SSU Sales to uphold customer-centricity as a top priority.
- Close relationship with the finance community to track pricing performances and trends.
- Collaborate with colleagues from the factory (BA Business Area) to establish unified pricing strategies for new products.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES :
- Experience : You must have 5-10 years of experience in pricing within a B2B setting, with a proven track record of success.
- Strong strategic thinking and leadership skills with the ability to drive business results.
- Experience in pricing strategy development and implementation in a global environment.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Proficiency in data analysis and modeling to support pricing decisions.
- Familiarity with Value Based Pricing principles and methods.
- Ability to drive change and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Experience in driving pricing consistency and alignment across diverse markets and product portfolios.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- High skills in data analysis, machine learning, programming, statistical modeling, AI and analytics tools
