Your areas of responsibilities :

• Organize and plan quality resources across multiple projects, ensuring efficient and timely execution of quality processes
• Represent the quality function in key child safety projects, working closely with Product & Project Management, andEngineering teams to drive project success
• Lead, coach, and mentor your direct reports, building their expertise in quality tools and methodologies to support their professional growth
• Establish and maintain holistic quality requirements for the Child Safety product category, ensuring they align with industry standards and company goals
• Oversee thorough testing of product requirements, analyze results, and take corrective actions to resolve quality issues and drive continuous improvement
• Utilize advanced problem-solving methodologies, including 8D, PPS, and QRQC, to tackle quality challenges and implement long-term solutions
• Lead cross-functional, international and global teams to address non-conformities, manage compliance risks, and ensure seamless project delivery
• Ensure effective use of quality tools such as D-FMEA, Control Plans, and HARA reports to prevent and resolve quality issues throughout the product lifecycle
• Champion the application of Lean Manufacturing principles and ensure alignment with the Product Development Process to improve overall efficiency
• Utilize your strong interpersonal skills to influence and collaborate with departments across the organization, even without formal authority
• Highlight compliance risks and ensure adherence to quality standards, maintaining a proactive approach to safeguarding product integrity

Your profile of qualifications :

• Bachelor’s or Master degree in Engineering or a related field
• Several years of professional experience in quality management, ideally within the consumer goods or juvenile industries, as well as several years of leadership experience with international and global teams
• Strong command of problem-solving methodologies (8D, QRQC, PPS) and quality tools (e.g. D-FMEA, HARA) to address complex quality issues
• Demonstrated leadership and coaching abilities, with a talent for guiding and developing teams to achieve their full potential
• A true team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills, able to work effectively across functions and levels
• Flexibility and readiness to travel as required by the role to support various projects
• Strong problem-solving, analytical thinking, and decision-making skills to navigate complex challenges in a fast-paced environment
• Proficient in Lean Manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies (CIP)
• Experience with the Product Development Process, from concept to market
• Confidence in your abilities and a proactive approach to taking initiative and driving positive outcomes
• Fluent in business English and German
