The FinanceManager (f / m / d) for Cytiva is responsible tolead the annual planning and monthly forecasting cycles, prepareand report monthly actuals and forecasts to the Finance leadershipteam.
This position is an individual contributor role and does not have direct reports or leadershipresponsibilities.
Thisposition is part of the Finance Team located in Cologne (Germany) and will be on-site . At Cytiva, our vision is, to advancefuture therapeutics from discovery todelivery.
Whatyou will do :
Maintain a cultureof control and compliance with regards to financial controls andcost discipline to ensure accurate accounting records andcompliance with local and Cytiva requirements in closecollaboration with the rest of the Financeteam.
Develop and maintainperformance KPIs to drive growth and profitability for the Cevec’sportfolio, including orders, sales, pricing, margin, and marketshare;
to frequently present the analysis of actuals vsplan.
Monitor the progresson agreed initiatives, through relevant KPIs and Risks &Opportunities, to pro-actively recommend mitigation actions for anydeviations from target performancemetrics.
Maintainappropriate record keeping in line with Cytiva and local standards,supporting the statutory account and specific legal entityrequirements.
Whoyou are :
Bachelor’s degreein accounting, finance, or business administration degree andminimum of 3 years of financial work experience developingforecasts and operating plans and leading business / financereviews.
Strong skills infinancial systems / applications (i.e. Oracle, Qlik, Power BI,etc.) for reporting and business intelligence, and expert skills inMicrosoft Excel for data compilation and aggregation (i.
e. pivottables, vlookup, power queries, andmacros).
Working in a globalbusiness environment with strong understanding of AccountingPrinciples and Controllership (i.e. SOX, USGAAP).
Excellentcommunication skills to clearly communicate complex financialinformation in an easy-to-understand manner both verbally andwritten.
Fluent in Englishand Germanlanguages.
Itwould be a plus if you also possess previous experiencein :
Finance / FP&A within international organizations in the Life Sciences / Healthcareindustry.
Experiencesuccessfully leading cross-functional projects and processimprovement within the operations / finance functions being able toquickly grasp new ideas and drive positivechange.
