Nordson Global Nonwoven , a leading provider of adhesive dispensing solutions for Nonwoven applications, is looking for you! Join our team in Lueneburg, Germany or Shanghai, China as Business Data Analyst (m / f / d) .

As part of the Strategic Marketing team, this position is a key strategic partner to senior leadership and supports decision-making by providing data-driven insight on our products and our customers.

This position is responsible for strategic data and information gathering and understanding, trend and scenario analysis, and other business analytics in support of strategic planning and

execution for Nonwovens Division.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities :

• Independently develop analytic information, charts and graphs, using Power BI.
• Manage NBS Next Strategic Discipline activities including reporting and insight, report-outs, and ad-hoc requests.
• Provide monthly customer and product output metrics and quarterly Quad Quartile reporting and provide insight to
• management to impact and influence decision-making.
• Supports the Operations Director with report-outs (OTD, CoPQ, etc.) , and ad-hoc requests.
• Develop and maintain relationships with key internal customers to identify emerging needs and business challenges.
• Pro-actively identify business process improvements by interrogating and interpreting data.
• Execute annual segmentation and corporate rankings to ensure accuracy and consistency.

Skills and Abilities :

• More than 5 years of relevant professional experience; bachelor’s degree is required, preferably in a business-related field.
• Demonstrated strength in problem solving and analytics and capable of driving insights into action.
• Strong business acumen and attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills
• Excellent mathematical and analytical capabilities
• Strong customer focus and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects.
• High level of competency with Microsoft Office suite (in particular, advanced Microsoft Excel) is essential; SAP, Power BI and
• Business Warehouse experience strongly preferred.
• English fluency

• Entwicklung und Erstellung von Berichten und Analysen zu Geschäftsdaten, um Marktentwicklungen und Trends frühzeitig erkennen zu können.
• Unterstützung der Unternehmensstrategie durch Erstellung von Reports, Auswertungen und Konsolidierungen von Daten insbesondere mit PowerBI, inkl.

• Bereitstellung von monatlichen Kunden- und Produktauswertungen sowie vierteljährlichen detaillierten Analysen zur Unterstützung der divisionalen Leitung bei Geschäftsentscheidungen
• Unterstützung des Bereich Operations bei der Erstellung von Berichten (OTD, COPQ usw.) und Ad-hoc-Anfragen.
• Aufbau und Pflege von Beziehungen zu wichtigen internen Kunden, um neue Bedürfnisse und geschäftliche Herausforderungen zu erkennen.
• Identifizierung von Geschäftsprozessverbesserungen durch Auswertung und Interpretieren von Daten.
• Durchführung der jährlichen Segmentierung- und Klassifizierung von Kunden und Produkten
• Unterstützung bei Projekten

Kenntnisse und Qualifikation :

• Entsprechendes betriebswirtschaftliches Studium oder vergleichbare Qualifikation mit mehrjärhiger Berufserfahrung
• Sehr gute Kenntnisse in MS Office : Excel, PowerBI; SAP business warehouse, C4C
• Gute Kenntnisse über Geschäftsprozesse, insb. im Bereich Vertrieb und Operations
• Verhandlungssichere Englischkenntnisse
• Sehr gute analytische und mathematische Fähigkeiten
• Sehr genaue, strukturierte, aber auch kreative Arbeitsweise
• Sehr gute Kommunikations- und Präsentationsfähigkeiten
