Key Account Manager - DACH Region

Core Responsibilities :

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve targets for the region, focusing on driving sell-out and profitable growth.
  • Build strategic account plans with key accounts, aligning with SteelSeries' business strategies.
  • Implement promotional sales and marketing plans with key accounts, driving brand visibility and sales.
  • Conduct product training with key account staff to ensure brand awareness and product knowledge.
  • Establish and nurture strong relationships with channel partners including retailers, e-tailers, and distributors.
  • Analyze sales data and market trends to forecast sales and identify growth opportunities.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing Team to coordinate and implement regional marketing activities.
  • Provide market feedback and insights to headquarters to support product development and strategy.

Qualifications and Skill Requirements :

  • 4-7 years of proven experience in a similar role within Consumer Electronics or Gaming.
  • In-depth understanding of P&L management and trade marketing.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, with intermediate level or higher.
  • Experience with e-commerce platforms and digital marketing is advantageous.
  • Fluency in English and German, both spoken and written.

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze market data and track performance.
  • Highly motivated and self-driven, excited by challenges and growth opportunities.
  • Excellent planning, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-changing environment.

Responsibilities :

  • Collaborate with the Regional Marketing Manager to drive sell-out growth and increase market shares in the DACH region.
  • Develop and nurture strong, direct relationships with key retailers in the region.
  • Maintain a data-driven approach to operations, prioritizing revenue and profitability.

Requirements :

  • Proven experience in sales, account management, or related fields.
  • Strong understanding of the gaming industry and market dynamics in the DACH region.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote setting.
