Legal Counsel

We are looking for a Legal Counsel to join our global team on an accelerated growth path! You will actively contribute by shaping our legal landscape at a very exciting period on the way to IPO.

Your Challenge :

• Serve as a trusted advisor to the general counsel and senior leadership team, providing actionable and risk-based advice on a wide range of issues crucial to our company's success
• Help shape legal and compliance strategy and processes as we scale up the company’s business and prepare for a potential IPO, including in the areas of data protection, corruption, mobility, competition law, consumer protection and sanctions
• Play a vital role in ensuring our compliance with laws and regulations. You will have the opportunity to to oversee regulatory compliance matters, including managing regulatory relationships
• Advise on the legal and business ramifications of various corporate and commercial initiatives, including M&A deals, finance rounds, a potential initial public offering or other exit, joint ventures and other significant commercial activities
• Assist in implementing best practices for corporate governance, including setting up board processes and practices to comply with potentially applicable listing standards

About you :

• Completed German State Exam in Law with excellent results
• Minimum 4 years of relevant legal experience, ideally obtained in a well-regarded, international law firm. The ideal candidate will have gained experience in a transactional environment, such as corporate M&A, finance or competition law
• Motivation and a passion for law mixed with a pragmatic work style and eagerness to progress
• Interest in being a generalist. In this role, you will take on projects relating to a wide variety of important legal matters
• Ability to independently manage projects and negotiate related agreements
• Outstanding communication skills that allow you to interact with a wide variety of individuals and to convey legal facts clearly and simply
• Fluency in English and German
