Lead Automation Engineer (m/f/d)
Red Global is excited to be working with an international company leader in the manufacturing industry located in Northern Bavaria.
To join their team on a permanent basis, they are currently looking for a Lead Automation Engineer (m / f / d) to help them with support activities for factories / production sites with focus on regulation, HMI, and control topics.
You will be responsible in developing visualisation and control solutions for their future digital factories based on new technologies and see through the process until they are ready for the market.

Your responsibilities :
- Having the end-to-end responsibilities in the development of smart sensor concepts for production plants and in implementing visualization concepts.
- Responsible for the development and testing of new software modules as part of an MES system and responsible in the final report and input of the data.
- Responsible for development, implementation and testing of video control systems according to AI regulations.
- Project management tasks such as monitoring and coordination
- Building the interface between production, central IT and suppliers
- Programming data blocks of a Siemens systems or other PLC and be responsible in the parameterization and process coupling of measuring systems.
- Taking care of adapting existing control concepts and in developing and testing model-based control systems (MBC)
- Responsible in supporting customer needs in the area of software and data coupling and in creating statistical analysis of quality data.
- Driving the preparation of training documents and responsible in implementing continuous trainings as well as in develop evaluations tests.
- Creating software templates (Excel) for the whole team and taking care of organising national meetings.
What we are looking for :
- Several years of proven working experience in the area of automatization, AI-based and video-based control systems and visualisation concepts.
- Preferred hand-on experience in working with MES system and Excel; good knowledge in MS Office.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Business fluent in English, German language is an advantage.
