As the Head of Cyber Protection, you play a pivotal role within the Electronics (EL) cyber security team, reporting directly to the EL CISO. You are part of the global cyber security team, interfacing with the EL business and corporate cyber security team. You lead teams managing identity and access controls, protecting endpoints, and ensuring effective response and recovery processes. You develop and run essential technical capabilities, particularly in operational technology (OT) environments, with close alignment to our corporate cyber security. Your role is crucial in protecting EL information assets and maintaining a robust cyber security posture. Key Responsibilities : Lead teams in developing and maintaining IT / OT network and infrastructure security measures. Implement and manage IAM and PAM solutions, ensuring robust access controls. Develop endpoint protection strategies against malware, ransomware, and other threats. Maintain incident response and recovery plans for OT environments. Provide strategic guidance for advanced IT / OT cyber security measures. Collaborate with EL CISO, corporate cyber security, and Regional / Site Cyber Security Managers. Develop and communicate an OT-driven IAM strategy and oversee its performance and compliance. Establish principles and strategies for network & endpoint security, including system hardening, patch management, and threat mitigation. Enhance response and recovery measures, and continuously improve processes with the corporate SOC. Who you are : A minimum of 8 years of experience in cyber security, with at least 3 years in a leadership role focused on network security, IAM & PAM, endpoint protection, and response and recovery.Technical knowledge of IT and OT infrastructure, architecture, and security tools is a must.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to assess complex security issues and develop effective solutions.Extensive experience in developing and communicating IAM strategy, managing IAM projects, and using IAM tools and technologies like SSO, MFA, and IGA solutions, along with familiarity with directory services and related protocols.Demonstrated expertise in developing and implementing response and recovery strategies, with proven leadership in managing cyber defense tools and endpoint security solutions.Proven experience in networking, including Network & Edge security technologies, network switches, firewalls, and WAN connectivity using SD-WAN, SWG, CASB, FWaaS, IDS, IPS, Meraki, and ZTNA, with Cisco or other relevant certifications desired.Information security certifications such as CISM, CISA, relevant ISO certifications are a plus.Understanding of the specific security challenges and regulatory requirements of the chemical and semiconductor industry, including production facilities, is a plus.Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English (German is a plus).
