At the Mercedes-Benz AG plant in Stuttgart-Untertürkheim, we build the heart of our automobiles : high-quality and pioneering engines, transmissions, axles and batteries for all Mercedes-Benz passenger cars.

Every day, our dedicated employees contribute their knowledge and skills to the further development and production of the latest drive technologies.

As the Inbound Transport and Network Control Powertrain team, we plan the worldwide freight and transport services for the Untertürkheim, Kölleda and other powertrain plants.

All modes of transportation are used : Road, rail, sea and air.

Our task includes the ongoing optimization of the networks from a transport logistics and economic point of view, as well as the secure supply of our plant and customers.

Your tasks include

• Collaboration in the transportation management of the forwarding companies
• Participation in the support and monitoring of a dynamic truck control system on the inbound side
• Preparation of statistics and figures for the service providers used by Mercedes-Benz AG for controlling and management as well as for related teams
• Validation and optimization of key figures
• Checking and improving vehicle utilization
• Analysis of error causes and development of solutions
• Processing quality reports and freight data with the aim of identifying and eliminating errors
• Creation of project-related presentations

Qualifikationen

Professional qualifications :

• Degree in business administration, industrial engineering, business informatics or a comparable course of study
• Confident handling of MS Office
• Very good written and spoken German
• Existing basic theoretical knowledge and knowledge of the transportation industry are desirable
