Logistics Analyst 1 (GmbH)
Purpose : Assists in the execution of training operations, the management and training of mission assigned workforce, operations planning, conducts mission manpower assessments, and performs daily / weekly briefings as required on operations.
Provides information on the status of operations affecting 405th Army Field Support Brigade area of operation and mission to Battalion and Brigade staff members and to units.
The individual will also coordinate the information management processes necessary to meet all internal and customer headquarters reporting requirements for operational information.
Essential duties and responsibilities : To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to fulfill each essential duty satisfactorily :
Coordinates with the CUOPS / FUOPS Manager on short / long term planning. Interfaces with designated government representatives and other contractor elements to ensure smooth operations and compliance with government directives, standards, and needs of the Government.
Develops and / or prepares Decision Making Processes, Courses of Action, initial mission briefings, information briefings, and decision briefings to brigade, other units, and program staff.
Assists in all phases of the execution of Operational orders and Warning orders in support of the training / exercise objectives.
Monitors the execution of plans and schedules as well as provides recommendations to adjust workload and workforce accordingly to accomplish the mission.
Identify complex systemic problems and provides solutions to enhance the effectiveness of the logistics programs in deliverables to the customer.
Assists in the development and implementation of standard operating procedures, work instructions, and training plans. Conducts, leads, and participates in briefings, problem-solving meetings, and PMO operations discussions.
Analyzes data and performs causative research. Provide timely, accurate and relevant information to the Operations leadership and / or Government personnel as required.
Generate all required reports, charts, graphs, and / or data calls. Ensure all personnel follow all Safety directives for APS-2.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualification and experience requirements : The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and / or abilities required.
a) High School diploma or equivalent required.
b) Army Battle Staff Course, Support Operations Course, or equivalent service schools preferred.
c) 7 years’ experience in operations management or similar experience is required.
d) A minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience is required.
e) Must have strong organizational and planning skills.
f) Must have basic knowledge in the use of MS Office, including Word and Excel, Outlook and other related applications.
g) Must be able to function with an advanced level of English oral and written language skills. h)Must be able to meet and maintain all base access security requirements.
License and Certifications :
i) Must be able to meet and maintain all LIS access requirements (Common Access Card).
Specialized knowledge and skills : Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand English. Ability to independently operate with minimal supervision.
Must possess a strong knowledge of operations, logistics, maintenance, supply and / or transportation procedures. Driver’s license is required.
May be required to deploy on missions on short notice at the direction of the PMO.
