Our development projects come to life in a dedicated team of design engineers and project managers. Our passion is to create functional and exciting products with creativity and love for bikes.

We take these products from the concept stage to series production, bringing them to trails and roads worldwide. With innovative developments, we shape the future of the cycling world.

If so, we are looking for you as a Senior Design Engineer (m / f / d) for FOCUS Bikes.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Coordinate all necessary measures for the market launch of our development projects in collaboration with project management during creative and agile SCRUM phases
• Assist engineers in improving their skills and projects with your knowledge
• Interact with Product Management, Brand Management, and the operational departments of our production and assembly sites
• Oversee production launches at our suppliers worldwide and at our assembly locations
• Ensure compliance with production and quality standards, as well as on-time delivery for your projects

WHAT YOU BRING

• Completed degree in mechanical engineering, automotive or electrical engineering, product design, or comparable fields of study
• Several years of experience in the product development of bicycles or similar technical products, including the integration of e-system components
• Experience with kinematics and geometry design, FEM simulations, and FMEA quality assurance measures
• Several years of experience with aluminium manufacturing processes, 3D design and component construction, preferably with Solidworks
• Excellent knowledge in bicycle mechanics and technology
• Analytical, agile, hands-on, and proactive work approach with a mindset for continuous improvement
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, and a joy for international teamwork.
• Passion for cycling
• Fluent in German and English
