Your role and responsibilities
This person will have the goal to support the development and ensure proper communication and implementation of global and regional IM&S Procurement strategies, execute local sourcing activities, lead internal stakeholder management and ensure compliance to global policies, procedures and processes in DACH Region within Electrification Business area.
You will be mainly accountable for :
Stakeholder Management : Partnering with internal stakeholders to understand their procurement needs and objectives and to identify sourcing initiatives, ensuring the availability of high-quality services and solutions at competitive costs;
Provide procurement expertise and guidance and facilitate the collaboration between stakeholders and Category Sourcing Team.
Procurement Management : Supporting IM&S Procurement organization in developing, implementing and executing global and regional strategies;
Leading & executing local sourcing activities, making sure they are aligned with the overall business objectives and market trends.
- Performance Management : Responsible for meeting or exceeding defined targets and objectives and monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) for the EL IM&S Procurement area within the region.
- Compliance Management : Implementing ABB standards, policies and procedures within IM&S Procurement area to ensure compliance and meet integrity requirements.
- Change Management : Fostering communication and driving change management in the region by building and maintaining strong relationships with internal stakeholders and collaborating with respective functions and project teams.
- Processes and Tools : Contributing to development, implementation and improvements of procurement tools, leveraging newest technologies and improving processes to streamline procurement activities.
Qualifications for the role
- Bachelor's or master's degree in Management or other related field.
- At least 10 years of experience in procurement (preferably in sourcing and category management within indirect procurement area).
- Leadership experience to motivate and guide the local procurement teams.
- Experience in senior stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration.
- Strong analytical, problem solving and result-orientation skills.
- Excellent communication and influencing skills.
- Advanced English and German knowledge.
