Low Level Embedded Software Engineer / Automotive / CAN / LIN / BSP / driver development / AUTOSAR / Embedded Software Engineer (m / f / d)

Location : Munich

What can you expect?

• Your work will produce ready-to-use, high-quality series software that you can experience in our cars.
• Before delivering your software you are encouraged to test your work directly in the car.
• You will work in a networked manner and independently coordinate your activities with your contacts.
• In addition, you will ensure that robustness, performance and security aspects are continuously observed in software design.

Qualifications and experiences :

• A university degree in computer science, electrical engineering or a comparable course of study or a comparable qualification.
• Extensive practical software development experience in C++ required.
• Extensive experience in BSP and driver development for embedded systems, preferably in automotive context with classic AUTOSAR.
• In-depth knowledge of RTOS and CPU architectures like ARM or Tricore required.
• Experience with bus systems (e. g. Ethernet, CAN, LIN, I2C, SPI) required.
• Expertise in HW debuggers (preferably trace32), oscilloscopes and logic analyzers.
• Experience in developing and integrating software platforms for embedded devices would be advantageous.
• Experience with HW bring up would be advantageous.
• Knowledge in automotive ethernet switches is beneficial.
• Knowledge in scripting languages (e. g. Python) would be advantageous.
