Zeus Petruzalek GmbH, a leading provider of Food & Retail Packaging products, is seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Business Development Manager to join our team in Germany.

In this role, you will be responsible for selling our range of packaging solutions to retailers, food producers, food processors, and logistics businesses within a designated region of Germany.

Your primary focus will be on driving sales, introducing new product innovation, servicing accounts, and collaborating with our customer service and operations teams.

Responsibilities :

Sales Generation : Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets, identifying and pursuing new business opportunities within the target customer base.

Customer Relationship Management : Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers in retail, food production, food processing, and logistics companies, understanding their packaging needs and providing tailored solutions.

New Product Introductions : Stay updated on industry trends, market demands, and competitor activities to identify potential new products or modifications to existing ones.

Collaborate with internal teams to introduce innovative packaging solutions that meet customer requirements.

Account Servicing : Act as the main point of contact for assigned accounts, ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction through effective communication, regular follow-ups, and prompt resolution of any issues or concerns.

Cross-functional Collaboration : Collaborate closely with the customer service and operations teams to ensure smooth order processing, timely delivery, and efficient resolution of any operational challenges.

Market Analysis : Conduct market research, including competitor analysis, to identify emerging trends, customer preferences, and opportunities for growth.

Provide valuable insights to guide business strategy and product development initiatives.

Sales Reporting and Forecasting : Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and opportunities in the CRM system.

Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and performance analysis to evaluate individual and team achievements.

Requirements :

Experience : Minimum of 3 years of proven success in business development, sales, or account management roles within the packaging industry, preferably in food and retail sectors.

Industry Knowledge : Strong understanding of Food & Retail Packaging products, market dynamics, and industry trends. Familiarity with the German market and its key players is highly desirable.

Sales Skills : Demonstrated track record of achieving sales targets and building successful customer relationships. Ability to identify and capitalize on business opportunities, negotiate contracts, and close deals.

Customer-Focused : Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to understand customer needs, provide consultative solutions, and deliver exceptional service.

Results-Oriented : Self-motivated, driven, and goal-oriented mindset, with a passion for exceeding targets and driving business growth.

Team Player : Strong collaboration and relationship-building skills to effectively work with internal teams and external stakeholders.

Analytical Thinking : Solid analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to gather and analyze market data, identify patterns, and make data-driven decisions.

Travel : Willingness to travel within the assigned region to meet clients and prospects.
