- Establish and maintain delivery of the defined local employment law services within Region Central Europe
- Provide HR employment law support, partnering with all Business Areas to achieve their commercial and strategic objectives in a legally-compliant manner
- Ensure target-oriented collaboration with regional GSS HR team, including reviews of templates as well as advice and trainings in labor law matters
- Close collaboration with Regional Management building the point of contact for employment law matters
- Represent regional employers in works council proceedings, in particular negotiation of works agreements
- Manage, monitor and co-ordinate work with external legal counsel in employment law litigation, represent DNV in such proceedings
- Regular working time of 39 hours with flextime account and home office possibility

Educational / Professional Requirements :
- Excellent academic credentials and law degrees from recognized university
- Qualification to practice law (admitted to the Bar of Germany)
- Minimum of 2years’post-qualificationexperience in a major law firm advising on employment law (incl. pensions and benefits) and / or in-house legal department in international firm for employment / pension matters

- Able to produce high-quality legal documents
- Good judgment and maturity, capable of assessing and advising internal clients on legal risks, knowing when to escalate matters, and capable of taking a stand in the interests of legal compliance
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, skillful negotiator
- Able to prioritize work effectively
- Self-driven and service minded, approachable and well organized
- Fluent in written and spoken English and German
- Self-aware person who can successfully manage client expectations, and can work well with a variety of personalities / capabilities in multi-functional teams and across all businesses
