We are developing the main drive for future Mercedes Benz vehicles - our task is to get the star rolling and we do this with great commitment and attention to detail.

Your task is to support the project management and specification of the Mercedes-Benz electric drive. As part of our team, you will work independently on current issues and projects in the electrified powertrain and support the project management and development engineers in their tasks.

You will organize the creation and structuring of specifications and coordinate content with a wide range of experts. You will deal intensively with the electrical and mechanical scope of the electric drive and make a measurable contribution to the sustainability goal of Mercedes Benz.

We offer you the opportunity to gain deep insights into the development of electric drives and to experience the everyday life of a development engineer at first hand.

You will work on the following tasks :

• Independent coordination of open technical issues with all colleagues and suppliers involved in the development process
• Preparing, organizing and conducting expert interviews and project meetings
• Structuring and creation of specification sheet content
• Presentation and documentation of status and progress in the specifications
• Creation and preparation of meaningful decision documents and schedules

Qualifikationen

• Degree course in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, automotive engineering, mechatronics, industrial engineering or comparable completed basic studies or Bachelor's degree desirable
• Confident handling of MS Office, especially PowerPoint
• Sound knowledge and systemic overall understanding of electrical drive components
• Sound knowledge of transmission components
• Analytical and innovative thinking
• Sense of responsibility as well as result and goal orientation, extraordinary initiative
• Strong ability to work in a team and openness
• Class B driving license
