Legal Counsel - Commercial

ABOUT THE ROLE :

We are looking for a sharp commercial lawyer to join Talon.One as part of our Legal Department. This is a generalist role and you will collaborate with various departments across the business, handling everything from sales and partnerships to marketing and RnD.

Reporting to our Senior Legal Counsel, this position offers a unique opportunity to help shape our in-house legal function and make a significant impact in supporting Talon.One's mission.

ABOUT THE TEAM :

We are currently looking for 2 new people to join our Legal team. We manage and own all legal aspects of our 4 entities worldwide.

As such, you will have the exciting opportunity to shape your role within our company and drive initiatives to help the team and Talon.One.

We are operating in a hybrid model and work closely with our stakeholders face-to-face, which makes it crucial for our new Legal Counsel to be based in Berlin.

ONCE YOU ARE HERE YOU WILL :

• Draft, review and negotiate commercial contracts, including those with clients, business partners and vendors
• Provide day-to-day legal advice and address ad hoc legal queries from all areas of Talon.One
• Conduct horizon scanning, monitoring legal developments and interpreting their impact on the business
• Conduct regular legal housekeeping to ensure ongoing compliance with regulatory requirements
• Identify, create, and manage legal operations initiatives as we continue to build and expand the Legal function
• Oversee and manage external legal support when required

WHAT WE NEED YOU TO BRING TO THE TABLE :

• You have 2-3 years of relevant post-qualification experience in an In-house environment
• You can work autonomously while also collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams
• You are a fast learner and thrive in a fast-paced, hybrid environment, managing multiple matters simultaneously
• You are qualified to practice as a lawyer in Europe (German experience is a plus)
• You can communicate complex legal advice effectively and provide practical solutions at all levels of the organization
• You enjoy working in a small team in a growing company, with flexibility and responsibility
• You are fluent in English, German is a plus
