JOB DESCRIPTION : :
- Engage with the Local IT team to evaluate the need for external support if internal resources do not have enough capacity.
- Communicate costs to the business by informing RITMs about costs related to the LAN implementation including, but not limited to :
- Order the entire list of network assets identified in the Bill of Materials (BOM) by engaging Customer’s Partner, Logicalis
SD-WAN (Overlay) Services
- Request quote to VENDOR for SD-WAN implementation based on the SD-WAN target setup
- Raise pricing request with VENDOR including the following information :
- Request Solicitation for Offer (SFO) to Vendor following cusotmer internal cost approval
oCommunicate costs to the business by informing RITMs about costs related to the SD-WAN implementation including, but not limited to :
- Hardware Costs (HWC)
- One Time Costs (OTC)
- Monthly Recurring Costs (MRC)
- Request hardware, installation, and managed services ordering documentation from respective accountable owners VENDOR
- Send Purchase Order (PO) to VENDOR
- Coordinate with the Service Design Team Architect to gather the completed Network Design documents and Runbook to be passed along to VENDOR for validation
- Request validation of the network design from VENDOR
- Request validation of the runbook from VENDOR
- Create and share a Site Readiness Assessment (SRA) to guarantee that the site is ready to receive SD-WAN
- Validate Site Readiness Assessment (SRA) to guarantee that the site is ready to receive SD-WAN
- Confirm successful delivery of all network assets contained within the Purchase Order from VENDOR
- Schedule a Go-Live window and Microsoft Teams (or similar conference bridge) to integrate the SD-WAN in Customer network by coordinating with VENDOR, FS, SD, Ops, and SecOps Teams to ensure they are aligned on date, time, and responsibilities
- Facilitate Go-Live call with all appropriate parties to ensure activation is completed successfully
Connectivity (Underlay) Services
- Work with Customer Network Lead Service Owner (SO) to define target Underlay setup, including but not limited to :
- Work with Customer Network Domain SO on the target Underlay setup approval
- Request new Underlay connectivity services via email to the Masergy Client Experience Manager and to the ACG Client Success Manager and include the following information :
oTarget underlay setup
- Request Local IT to complete the Customer Information Form (CIF) file
