What you will be responsible for
As Collateral Operations and Oversight Specialist, Senior Associate you will be
Overseeing Collateral operations activities locally as well as outsourced to other State Street locations
Leading and executing internal operations and oversight related projects
Leading process improvements starting from identification of opportunities until execution and implementation
Ensuring high quality standards of the service
Collaborating with internal and external groups to identify, analyze and proactively resolve issues and exceptions
Contributing as subject matter expert to change processes and internal projects
Working together with clients and other internal / external parties to improve and enhance processes
Supporting audits, risk assessments and compliance initiatives by providing relevant data as well as new ideas

Education & Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s and / or Master’s degree with a focus on business and financial topics or comparable apprenticeship
At least 4 years of relevant experience in the financial industry, preferably within collateral management, operations oversight and / or client services
Knowledge of financial instruments and the regulatory framework in regards to Collateral industry (e.g. EMIR)
Proficiency in English and German
Strong knowledge of MS Office applications, PowerBI preferred
