We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Senior VP, Fund / Client Accounting Manager- Group Manager Alternatives Operations to join our Real Estate Fund Accounting team.
This role is located in Frankfurt and is hybrid.
In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways :
- Directing teams that are responsible for providing administration services to real estate clients.
- Directing processes and the allocation of resources for ensuring that quality and timely reporting is provided to clients each measurement cycle.
- Managing relationships with clients and other stakeholders.
- Communicating with clients on complex issues.
- Evaluating German investment law and regulations to determine impact of new regulations on BNY Mellon accounting practices.
- Developing strategy for and providing guidance to teams on the implementation of company policies.
- Resolving complex issues escalated from team members.
- Recruiting, directing, motivating and developing staff.
- Seeking opportunities for Improving processes and service delivery.
To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following :
- Deep experience in alternatives operations.
- Track record of operational excellence
- years + experience managing teams, preferably in real estate.
- Proven management ability in a global organisation, managing multiple teams across multiple clients.
- Excellent knowledge of real estate accounting.
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to lead change and manage complex operational process enhancements
- Bachelors degree in accounting or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
- Project management experience an advantage
- Experience with Yardi accounting platforms an advantage
