How can a human control a swarm of UAVs? This question is the focus of the Technologietransferzentrum (TTZ) Unmanned Aerial Systems , part of the AI Mobility Hub Ingolstadt AImotion Bavaria.

Your tasks
- Development of a mixed-reality interaction concept for swarms of unmanned aerial platforms
- Comparison of various visualization and control methods in civilian and military applications
- Implementation of prototypes and user evaluation in simulations as well as with UAVs in field trials
- Presentation of research results at international conferences
Your profile
Completed Masters degree in Human-Machine Interaction, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
Passion for current developments in mixed-reality, spatial computing, and unmanned aviation
Knowledge in software development (e.g., C / C++, C#), 3D modeling, and computer vision
Experience in developing VR / AR applications is desirable
Good command of English, both written and spoken
Capable to work self-motivated and independent
Team player and strong communication skills
