Chartered Accountant (m/f/d)

We are seeking a committed Chartered Accountant (m / f / d) for our esteemed client in the mechanical engineering industry to strengthen the team as soon as possible.

In this responsible position, you will be primarily responsible for the preparation and analysis of monthly and annual financial statements, contributing to the financial integrity of the company.

Job description :

• Preparation of Financial Statements : Assisting in the preparation of monthly and annual financial statements in accordance with HGB for several German entities, as well as supporting the preparation of the consolidated financial statements.
• Diverse Accounting Areas : Engaging in a variety of activities in accounts receivable, asset accounting, bank accounting, and payroll accounting, as well as intercompany reconciliation.
• Project-Based Tasks : Taking on various project-related tasks to support the team.
• Collaboration with Controlling : Working closely with the controlling department to optimise financial processes and ensure data quality.

Requirements profile :

• Education : Bachelor degree and additional qualification as a Chartered Accountant (ideally also an international accounting qualification).
• Professional Experience : At least 5 years of professional experience in controlling or accounting within an industrial company, preferably in mechanical and plant engineering.
• Accounting Knowledge : Excellent knowledge of accounting according to HGB, preferably with additional knowledge of IFRS.
• IT Skills : Proficient in MS Office applications (particularly Excel) and experience with an ERP system (ideally Microsoft Dynamics AX).
• Analytical Skills : Strong analytical and conceptual thinking abilities to identify areas for improvement and derive actionable measures.
• Independence : Independent and structured working style with a high level of initiative and commitment.
• Teamwork : Strong teamwork and communication skills, along with intercultural competence for effective collaboration with various departments and stakeholders.
• Language Skills : Proficient in German (minimum B2 ) and English (minimum C1 ).
