Technical Engineer
ZTE Deutschland is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Technical Engineer to join our Engineering Services team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical support and troubleshooting for our clients, with a strong focus on fixed networks (FTTH), WDM (Wavelength Division Multiplexing), and IP products.
The role requires proficiency in both German and English, as well as excellent communication skills and a customer-centric approach.
Responsibilities :
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for fixed network (FTTH), WDM, and IP products.
- Collaborate with clients to resolve technical issues and ensure the smooth operation of their networks.
- Conduct regular maintenance and performance checks on client networks.
- Develop and deliver technical documentation, reports, and training materials for clients.
- Liaise with the product development team to relay client feedback and suggest improvements.
- Assist in the planning and implementation of network upgrades and expansions.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and advancements in fixed network, WDM, and IP technologies.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by delivering timely and effective technical support.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience in technical support and troubleshooting for fixed network (FTTH), WDM, and IP products.
- Proficiency in German and English, both written and spoken.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and a customer-focused mindset.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
- Familiarity with network management tools and software.
- Willingness to travel for on-site support as required.
- Preferred Qualifications :
- Previous experience in a technical support role within the telecommunications industry.
- Certifications related to fixed networks, WDM, and IP technologies.
- Knowledge of additional networking technologies and protocols.
