Electrical & Instrumentation Regional Manager
Location : Either Hamburg Germany, Europoort Netherlands or ADM Europe major plant site.
We are now seeking the above candidate to be a key leader and subject matter expert in the Electrical & Instrumentation field, responsible for driving step change improvements in plant safety, compliance, reliability and efficiency in the EMEAI / APAC region.
Reporting to the EMEAI / APAC Reliability Technical Centre Director, they will apply their knowledge and experience to ensure continuous improvement & to optimize the company's Electrical and Instrumentation strategies.
Your Responsibilities
- To Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety & environmental regulations and best practices.
- Perform regular technical assessments to identify opportunities, prioritize them and support locations on monitoring and closing gaps identified.
- Develop and implement best Maintenance Preventive & Predictive practices for E&I assets.
- Ensure the NDE capital plans and operation budgets are aligned with the strategic direction.
- Create and maintain a critical spare parts strategy.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting on E&I issues related to locations, maintaining regular contact with E&I Site leaders.
- Lead development of a reliability strategy that aligns with business needs.
- Prepare and review technical documentation / standards, including design specifications and maintenance manuals.
- Work closely with plant E&I Teams to optimize plant resources and expenses to find new ways to drive further efficiencies.
- Revise and adjust the E&I organization with clear roles, responsibilities and staffing.
- Identify and support technical training for the E&I colleagues, based on skills evaluation.
- Define and drive E&I metrics and KPI’s in support of operational goals while improving safety, quality, delivery and cost.
- Utilize E&I downtime and cost data to prioritize improvement opportunities around equipment reliability and organization efficiency.
- Provide direction and technical support to the plant E&I Departments, included turnarounds.
- Identify continuous improvement projects and develop business cases in collaboration with plant E&I teams.
- Support sites and operations technology centres on designing and developing E&I systems.
- Support sites and procurement on specifying and selection of vendors and the necessary E&I equipment for new or existing processes.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams to integrate E&I assets with overall system design (Capex, Automation, others).
- Conduct research to develop new E&I technology & improve performance.
- Prepare and review technical documentation, including design specifications and maintenance manuals.
Your Profile
- Degree qualified in Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) Engineering or a related discipline.
- In depth experience in E&I manufacturing environments and its related systems.
- Proficient in predictive and preventive maintenance for E&I equipment
- Project management skills.
- Experienced on financial and efficient resources management (material, services, contractors).
- Excellent English written and verbal communication skills (Including the ability to present information to a formal group) and preferably other European languages.
- Familiarity with Countries’ regulations and compliance on E&I infrastructure.
- Tenacity in pursuing objectives to completion correctly and on time.
- Good communication skills and team player skills.
- A proven ability to lead, motivate and develop multicultural and multidisciplinary remote teams.
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with customers and partners.
- Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audience, included executive reports.
- Ability to adapt to changes in the business environment and new technologies.
