Computer Scientist for Principal Data Scientist -Data Governance (f/m/d)

As a Principal Data Scientist for Global AI Implementation (f / m / d) you will play a crucial role in our global AI roll-out program for backend production sites.

Reporting directly to the program management, you will take over responsibility to drive strategic projects to enable further global roll-out of AI at Infineon.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement innovative data-driven solutions for complex business situations.

In your new role you will :

• Drive strategic projects to enable further global roll-out of AI at Infineon Backend
• Engage with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into actionable strategies for the AI roll-out program
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement innovative data-driven solutions for complex business situations in the context of the global AI roll-out program
• Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in data science and engineering, with a focus on their application in the global AI roll-out program

Your Profile

We are looking for an individual with a proven ability to engage people and foster collaboration across diverse teams, coupled with strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.

You set the direction in your field of competency and explain issues in a clear and convincing manner using your remarkable communication and presentation skills.

You contribute your skills and abilities and make sure that the right conclusions are drawn.

You are best equipped for this task if you have :

• A university degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Mathematics or a related field
• Minimum 5 years of industry experience in data science or data engineering (ideally in the semiconductor industry), with reliable, documented results of delivering impactful projects
• Experience in developing methods or structures to integrate AI into an organization , particularly in a production environment
• Competency in the field of data governance, data infrastructure and / or use case scaling , particularly in a production environment
• Familiarity with DevOps principles and practices
• Experience with big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark) and cloud platforms are of benefit
• The ability to communicate in English with business fluency , German language skills are a plus
